  • Student Opt-Out Option: Curriculum Assessment Study (Thursday, February 2, 2012)

Student Opt-Out Option: Curriculum Assessment Study

BTSR is currently conducting a curriculum assessment as part of its accreditation report. A major component of this study is the assessment of student learning. One aspect of the study involves the collection and study of random sample student products (papers, tests, projects, sermons, etc.).

Randomly selected student work from various courses will be collected as exhibits for review and assessment of student learning related to (1) course learning objectives, and, (2) degree program goals. Student names are removed from all work selected for review. We hope you are willing to help improve our curriculum and our teaching practices by participating in this curriculum review process. This curriculum assessment study does not require additional work of you, however, if you do not want your course work to be available for selection you may opt-out by submitting an opt-out form. The form is available from the Blackboard course site of any course, from your professor, or from the Dean.
